Abstract

The Background: Lack of HIV/AIDS knowledge on adolescent influences the adolescent attitude towards premarital sexual behavior so it will increase the adolescent vulnerability to HIV/AIDS infection. The aim of this study was to identify the correlation between the level of HIV/ADS knowledge and students attitude towards premarital sexual behavior.

Methods: Descriptive study cross sectional approach was conducted by using questionnaires among 129 purposively selected students.

Results: From 129 students there’s 85 peoples who has good of HIV/AIDS knowledge, most age is 17 with 45 boys and 40 girls and the most resource of information is from electronic. There’s 75 students whose not supportive towards premarital sexual behavior with most age is 16 and most of the gender is a boys and the major resource of information is media social.

Conclusion: The result showed that most of the students had high level of HIV/AIDS knowledge with unsupported attitude towards premarital sexual behavior
